因為看到有讀者聲稱吳乃德教授的博士論文「The politics of a regime patronage system」在政治學很重要。
所以忍不住簡單用Google Scholar查一下該文被引用次數，發現正式博士論文共9次被引用（其中2次是作者後來於其他文章自我引用）。而同樣題目的文章則被引用了87次，但許多都是台灣作者的引用。
應該是我才疏學淺，我一直習慣的法律經濟學領域中，被聲稱「重要」的文章或著作引用次數是這樣的（見圖）：

想必是我不懂政治學或社會學，所以誤解了不同領域的「最廣泛、最常被引用」定義。而且我只用Google Scholar必然有所疏漏，想必有其他大量引用的紀錄未被Google載入。
Search
